Tired Radio
Tired Radio, the emotionally-charged punk/alt/emo band led by frontman Anthony Truzzolino, has released their highly anticipated full-length album, Hope In The Haze, and their debut on Red Scare Industries. The band is also hitting the road in support of the record, with dates scheduled in Philadelphia, Brooklyn, Baltimore, and Richmond—including a performance at the renowned FEST in Gainesville, Florida.
Produced and engineered by Gary Cioni of Crime in Stereo (Hot Mulligan, CLIFFDIVER) with additional production and engineering by Matt Weber (Sweet Pill, A Great Big Pile of Leaves, Young Statues), Hope in the Haze is a stark and vulnerable portrait of life at rock bottom. “It’s a brutally honest collection of songs about navigating depression, addiction, heartbreak, and the thoughts that haunt you in your lowest moments,” explains Truzzolino. “It’s equal parts confession and catharsis, searching for something worth holding onto when everything feels like it’s slipping away.”
The album features standout singles including: “Your Great Escape," a searing track about the urge to run when things fall apart. “It's about the impulse to run when shit gets hard—and how that 'escape' always catches up with you in the end. It's a sharp, angry reflection on distance, denial and the wreckage we leave behind.” And “D.R.E.A.M. (Depression Ruins Everything Around Me," an unflinching look at the numbing effects of depression. “A raw, unflinching look at losing the spark in the things that once lit you up. It’s about numbing the emptiness with drugs and alcohol while longing for the lighter days of youth.”
